Oh my, one option worse than the other ;-)
Currently we haven't got any external dependency on a logging framework by
choice and I really wouldn't want to introduce it just in order to support a
use-case like "people want to keep their broken tar-link outputs".
I intend to merge #40 and mark it as a change that is going to break backwards
compatibility. We'll see if people start to complain and can think about
options after that. I'll close #41 via the commit message.
