Michael Johns commented on CONTINUUM-1992:
------------------------------------------

Looks to be the same. I suppose whether or not we call it a bug depends on
what the requirements were/are. I honestly don't care what it's called so long
as it's fixed.

> Don't wipe partial log on build cancel
> --------------------------------------
>
> Key: CONTINUUM-1992
> URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/CONTINUUM-1992
> Project: Continuum
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Affects Versions: 1.2.2
> Reporter: Michael Johns
> Priority: Minor
>
> When a build is canceled, anything that has been logged up until that point
> is lost and the log simply shows the ContinuumBuildCancelledException trace.
> It would be immensely useful if the log up until that point was maintained
> and the exception simply appended to the end. Sometimes we cancel builds
> because they hang, and it becomes very difficult to debug that when the log
> is lost. Same goes for builds that are canceled due to exceeding the build
> time threshold.
