Matt Gaunt commented on CB-4910:
--------------------------------
That sounds reasonable to me.
I'm also happy with having a `cordova` top level directory for any and all
config files. The file structure produced by the CLI at the moment is fantastic
and self explanatory, `cordova` would fit in with this since it is cordova tool
specific (at least from what I can see)

> What would be useful for future versions of Cordova projects built with the
> cordova-cli is:
> 1.) Rename ".cordova" folder to simply "cordova" this means hosting projects
> on github will more that likely include the cordova directory
> 2.) Move the config.xml file from the www diretory into the cordova directory
> allowing build steps / tasks / tools to replace the contents of www without
> breaking the build
