Does this happen in a plain cordova iOS app without ionic?
In any case, there seems to be a bug in the iOS Contact Picker, you can't
actually select contacts since it is read-only. Looking at the code, the
ABAddressBookRequestAccessWithCompletion call is *not* called for pickContact.
