In Console, the only issue that seemed to be related was this:

8/17/16 8:40:18.065 AM com.apple.CoreSimulator.CoreSimulatorService[18321]: 
Requested phone is is not available for pairing.  Assuming it has the 
capability.

Which didn't seem fatal.

I'm using iTerm2 - any chance thats an issue?
