Can I say I have been successfully using node, npm and cordova for years - on
same machine in this instance. npm - v - 4.1.1. I just added express - seems
to be working ok for that. npm is global.

Tried "cordova platform add [email protected]" - same response. This is a
bit different from my previous reported bug - now I have 7 on.

cordova platform add [email protected] --nofetch [ also failed with no
--nofetch ]
Error: Failed to fetch platform [email protected]
Probably this is either a connection problem, or platform spec is incorrect.
Check your connection and platform name/version/URL.
Error: Cordova library "cordova-android" not recognized. [ I usually just add
android? ]

cordova build - WORKED!
cordova run - WORKED!
FANTASTIC!
Ok - so the changes in 7 need fixing so it works straight up..

Aside:
Can I ask - do either of you have a PC and Android Studio installed? I didn't
use it previously but am forced to for work - this is when all the problems
started. You know they have broken access to the sdk and avd managers - you
can't use the sdk unless through Android Studio! I tried -= seems that way on
my system.
Interestingly I have installed an older stand alone sdk on my server - works
fine all the way to gradle - which I will install by hand.
Anyway thanks for your help..Working with the --nofetch..
