jcesarmobile's plugin fixes the issue.
https://github.com/shazron/CB-12886/pull/1 and is also in the {{fixed}} branch
of https://github.com/shazron/CB-12886
The native code fix should be integrated into the
cordova-plugin-wkwebview-engine plugin.
I'm not sure of any side-effects, [~jcesarmobile] ?
