Updating ResponseBuilder is not realistic. I've actually been poking around it
too right now, committing shortly. The current solution I came up with is to
validate a single bean only if we have a non-null Response.getEntity(). IMHO
this is the minimum we can support right now. I'll post a rev link shortly
