You are right, (String)proceed() is a questionable code :-). I got it in just
to get the test passing. The way the cached entitites are processed needs to be
reviewed, going to play with it now...
By the way, I guess we do not need to deal with the conditional headers in a
reader interceptor, but only in a request filter, if the filter gets a cached
entity then it can check if it still qualifies against the conditional request
headers, if any.
