Sergey Beryozkin commented on CXF-6491:
---------------------------------------

It may surprise you but after working on implementing JAX-RS in CXF I have some
idea about what Accept is for or that people may combine multiple Consumes in
their methods. In fact some people do prefer to have a method per single
Consumes.
I was referring to a case of a user writing a client proxy code...

Anyway, I'm not willing to do this extra work because it makes things more
complex, especially given that a task of linking of request and response
representations also needs to be addressed where we have multiple in and
multiple out reps. You have a proper alternative available and I will tune the
code a bit to add a media subtype to a generated method name.

> The wadl2java tool, with the supportMultipleXmlReps option, generates the
> wrong @Consumes annotation values for each of the POST methods that have
> multiple representations. The annotation for all of the methods contains all
> of the media types instead of the single media type that is appropriate for
> the specific method.
> I've tested the versions listed in the affected versions field, but it likely
> applies to other versions as well.
