Bharath Gowda commented on FINERACT-2151: ----------------------------------------- Hi [~ruhiu] It does work with Cumulative and Progressive schedule types. However, the allocation/portioning of the amount works based on the allocation rule set at configuration level. The best way to configure is using the flexible progressive loan schedule we can define the allocation rule at each transaction level. For Example: We can define the allocation rule like - Past Penalty->past Fees -> current Penalty->Current Fees-> advance Penalty-advance fee-> Followed by the rest this will allocate the amount portion to penalty and fees first when the charge-adjustment is made and then if any excess amount will go to the rest of the portions. Hence this is not an issue - Instead works based according to the configuration set at the product level. Let me know if you have any questions, happy to help. > Charge adjustment should only affect the charge adjusted not other charges, > interest, principal, etc. Linked to > https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FINERACT-1761 > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: FINERACT-2151 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FINERACT-2151 > Project: Apache Fineract > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Accounting, Charges > Affects Versions: 1.9.0 > Reporter: John Ruhiu > Priority: Critical > Fix For: 1.10.0 > > Attachments: Charge adjustment transaction type bug.mp4 > > > When a charge is adjusted using the charge adjustment transaction type, > amount entered as adjustment value is applied to principal, fees, penalties and > interest.
