I understand that the system creates an accrual entry(with full interest
amount) at the transaction level. However, I don't think it is posting any
accounting entries either.
As far as I am aware, this transaction has been present from the initial days
of the loan module, and I believe many organizations would have adopted it in
reports or for other business purposes.
And it also makes sense not to have this transaction for No, CASH, ACCRUAL
(PERIODIC) type of accounting configurations.
Hence, I suggest putting this under a configuration if possible, as not to
break anything for anyone, or we can first bring the discussion to Fineract
list serve and then remove it.
