Thanks [~meonkeys] — got it on the repo split and licensing.
I pulled latest on both repos and found the root cause for the lookback/index
bugs: in the update workflow the downloaded docs/ + state/ artifact gets wiped
when actions/checkout pulls the archiver repo into the same workspace, so the
cursor resets every run and older daily pages disappear when lookback is small.
My suggested fix: check out apache/fineract-chat-archive into a subdir (e.g.,
archiver) and set OUTPUT_DIR/STATE_DIR to the data repo paths so docs + cursor
persist. I can open a PR in mifos/chat-archive to do this.
Next I’ll handle formatting updates in the archiver code: add blank lines
between messages and convert Slack link syntax like <url|text> to Markdown
[text](url) (and possibly resolve <@U123> to display names).
