thank u for merging both PRs.
I agree we’re missing the final “Markdown -> HTML” step right now, so Pages is
serving no built site.
My preference is to switch to rendering HTML directly (instead of Markdown +
Jekyll build). rightly stated that markdown doesn’t seem to add much value, and
direct HTML will simplify local runs + GitHub Actions (no extra build
chain/container needed just for Jekyll).
On stylesheet location, I agree it should be a static file in
mifos/chat-archive(for example docs/assets/chat-archive.css) rather than
generated by Java each run. That keeps presentation concerns in the site repo
and makes styling changes easier. Also agree on dark mode. I’ll implement
automatic theme support using @media (prefers-color-scheme: dark) so it follows
device/browser preference.
If that direction sounds good, I’ll send a follow-up PR that will ,
1. renders archive pages as HTML directly,
2. updates links/sitemap accordingly,
3. uses a static stylesheet in mifos/chat-archive,
4. adds light/dark styles via prefers-color-scheme.
re: AGENTS.md , not adding now, as we are not doing agentic coding, maybe in
future will add if needed.
