Fixed in 9b15df5f15: - `MimeMessageHelper` is now created with `StandardCharsets.UTF_8.name()`, so the body is encoded to match the `charset=UTF-8` header. - `sendDefinedEmailSendsHtmlWhenRequested` now uses your sample body (`Dear José Müller, … – ₹100`), writes the message to its wire bytes, and parses it back before asserting. It checks that the content type carries `charset=UTF-8` and that the body comes back unchanged.
