The 302 thing does seem to be an issue - 301 headers are correctly re-requested
and downloaded, but it hangs on 302 headers for both of OSMF 2.0 SWC and the
AFE JAR file.
Uploading these files to a different server and using a Map Remote to redirect
the URL to bypass the 302 allows download to proceed.
EG: in Charles, I have;

Incidentally, the download _*WORKS WITHOUT MODIFYING THE DEFAULT XML*_ if this
redirect is in place.
So...
It looks like there needs to be a fix to the downloader app to overcome
whatever is going wrong with the 302 issue.
