I think I could take however I have a question
currently Calcite does not support EPOCH and DECADE correctly (please have a
look at https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CALCITE-2303)
At the same time DOW could be supported right now
+ As there is its own _org.apache.calcite.avatica.util.DateTimeUtils_ where
changes should be done to have others support should we wait its resolution on
Calcite side?
