Moreover for selected configuration an exception is thrown if schema is provided. (Proposed solution) As an example for checkpoint dir user can give schema as either hdfs or file. So if the user has to provide the schema "file" for checkpoint dir and should not provide schema for an other configuration would only lead to confusions.
