   can you somehow extract common logic of this method and 
`SpanningRecordSerializationTest#testSerializationRoundTrip(Iterable<SerializationTestType>,
 int, RecordSerializer<SerializationTestType>, 
RecordDeserializer<SerializationTestType>)`? They share a lot of core.
