I should have mentioned that I took this 2D quadtree:
http://www.cs.trinity.edu/~mlewis/CSCI1321-F11/Code/src/util/Quadtree.scala
and used that as a guide to form an n-Dimensional quadtree -- some
generalizations were straightforward, others were bit tricky/fun (like
partitioning an n-dim box into equal sub-boxes)
