zentol opened a new pull request #9127: [FLINK-13215][hive] Simply copying of classpath URL: https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/9127 The `FlinkStandaloneHiveRunner` creates an external Hive process and for this purpose provides the classpath of the test. The existing code was processing the classpath in what seems to be unnecessary ways; the tests pass on Travis without any of this processing.
