Seth Wiesman commented on FLINK-13179:
--------------------------------------
FLINK-12746 is different than the ask of this ticket. It is about deep diving
on a single example for new users vs documenting usage of the existing
`flink-examples`. [~becket_qin] the state machine example in question is being
dockerized as part of FLIP-42. I don't know that we want to commit to having
automated runners for every example. I'm not entirely sure what the correct
answer is here but I would lean towards improved documentation before we try
and automate everything under the sun.
> Add document on how to run examples.

> Some of the examples in Flink do not have sufficient document so users may
> not able to run them easily. We can probably have a shell script to run the
> examples. The shell script should include necessary libraries and maybe log4j
> configs.
