I think the potential problems still exists: 1. Hive uses 0 as unknown, which Flink might think no data. 2. -1 may still cause issues even though nothing surfaced in our experiment. #1 is a bigger issue. To mitigate it, we can recommend user to keep the stats updated always. For now, I think we just need to keep an eye on this issue.
