I opened the issue. Please let me close it or let me at least comment on your
remarks before you close it. I know very well I can reopen issues but closing
an issue is a quite intimidating act.
Nevertheless, I agree with your proposal. It seems like the port range is a
simpler and much more common solution to the problem.
