Thanks for reaching out to the community [~bytesandwich]. At the moment we are
mainly working on FLINK-21075 since it is a prerequisite for this ticket here.
There we are about to do the groundwork. Once this is done, I am pretty sure
that we will have a couple of follow ups where any helping hand is highly
appreciated. What you could do as a preparational step is to look at the linked
FLIPs.
