[~rosti-il] That comment is still relevant. I think everyone would like to be
able to upgrade our Kryo dependency to a more recent version, especially given
that only from Kryo 5.2.1 supports Java 17. However, a solution must be found
so that Flink provides an upgrade mode for users who are recovering from
savepoints which have been made with older Kryo versions. That's the
challenging part.
