Are there really any major features missing from the new source API which would
prevent users from migrating? I would prefer marking as {{@Deprecated}} now. We
will make sure to address any gaps in the feature set of the new source API.
The tasks are clearly tracked here in JIRA and also referenced in the code.
This is also a chance to collect feedback from users who migrate early.
