Could you revert these changes even in your dev version? There appears to a bug
in Pekko 1.1.x where Netty ByteBufs are not released.
Tracked as https://github.com/apache/pekko/issues/1634
We will try to issue a Pekko release with a fix but it could be a few weeks.
