The current serialization doc
([https://nightlies.apache.org/flink/flink-docs-master/docs/dev/datastream/fault-tolerance/serialization/types_serialization/)]
does not reflect some recent 2.0 breaking changes, e.g. removal of Scala type
support. A complete revision is needed.
