Thanks for the detailed review. I addressed the serializer and writer feedback in e78245f: - V2 now uses an explicit binary format; it no longer needs Jackson or its SQL-jar packaging changes. - Legacy V1 committables retain their version through a V2-format round trip, and corrupt state is rejected explicitly. - The callback bookkeeping and per-topic latest-message-ID tracking have been tightened. - The PR description now clarifies the single-writer-subtask atomicity scope and the downgrade limitation for V2 state. The send-failure handling observation is pre-existing and outside this PR.
