Thanks, I adopted the append-only V2 layout in e8d6531. V2 now writes the V1 prefix (`TxnID` plus the legacy topic field) followed by the message-ID map. The legacy topic uses `unknown_due_to_v2_serialization`, so an older connector can deserialize the V1 prefix, log a meaningful placeholder, and ignore the V2 trailing fields while committing the transaction. I also removed the redundant committable version field. An empty message-ID map now consistently means that recovery information is unavailable, including for state restored from V1. The PR description no longer states that downgrade is unsupported. Added a compatibility test that reads V2 bytes through the V1 prefix, and ran the serializer tests plus Spotless formatting check. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
