The implementation looks good, but it got me thinking about future improvements -- currently, there are a few retry mechanisms around the codebase we could reuse. I'm wondering if it makes sense to introduce a library, like [resilience4j](https://github.com/resilience4j/resilience4j) and create a utils class for resilience handling. WDYT?
