Mike Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-1022:
----------------------------------------
This should already be the case. Since GUACAMOLE-267, if a connection within a
balancing group fails, Guacamole should transparently try another available
connection within the group. This will only happen if you connect to the group.
If you expand the group and explicitly click on one of its connections, you'll
be connecting to that connection directly without any balancing.

As an admin, I would also like an option to not allow even allow opening the
group.
{quote}
This option already exists. You do not need to grant users access to
connections within a balancing group (and generally probably shouldn't, as it
will allow your users to bypass the balancing). To a user that can see only the
group, the group appears to be a connection.

> I have 78 hosts in a balanced connection group. Let's say that the first
> host is down. Now, when the user click on the connection group expecting to
> get a connection, they instead get a message that Guacamole can't connect.
> If it can't connect to the first one, it should try the next one, then the
> next one until it finds one that works.
