I thought I had handled this case in the `JsonRecordReader` code. The
`JsonStreamReader` has no knowledge of the 'end' location of the FileSplit and
will read until it completes a JSON record on the call to `getJsonRecord`. The
`JsonInputStream` only returns false on a `next` call when the number of bytes
read by the stream reader is greater than or equal to `end - start`. It will
ignore the split boundaries and continue to reading to make a full record.

> JSON has been a popular format used in HDFS as well as in the community,
> there has been a few JSON PXF plugins developed by the community and we'd
> like to see it being incorporated into the code base as an optional package.
