James Kennedy commented on HBASE-2641:
--------------------------------------
http://github.com/jameskennedy/hbase-transactional-tableindexed/commits/0.90.0-SNAPSHOT
Is the latest and greatest branch on github. It's being held back from the
hbase-trx repository because it is dependent on the patch I'm about to post to
this case.
It's status is that it WAS working for 0.89 august release of HBase. In fact
we're using it in our production server which uses transactions extensively.
But there have been so many changes in HBase recently that I now need to bring
it up to speed with trunk.
So i'm really hoping to get this patch in today and then start updating and
testing the hbase-trx stuff and get it all stable for hbase 0.90 release.
Yes your help would be appreciated. Let me get the hbase patch in today and
also hopefully a hbase-trx upgrade in. Then you can help validate it.
Thanks!

> A suggestion made during a review of hbase-2437 is that we further untangle
> hlog split code by moving split code and support out of hlog into distinct
> classes. See early Todd Lipcon comment over in http://review.hbase.org/r/74/
