Patch looks good.
My only comment is that, for split/merge and compaction, the verification is
implicit, while there is no verification for snapshot table. Although I don't
think adding snapshot verification makes sense here, since on some cases,
snapshot will fail and we do not want that to cause test failures. While we are
at it, should we add flush actions as well?
