-1 to a revert without providing an alternative. HBASE-9097 listed several,
let's pick one if must be. +0 if we also include such an alternative in this
patch.
Also see my last comment there, if this to support FAT jars that would break
otherwise they are *already broken* and might or might work and fail in subtle
ways.
