[~anoop.hbase] and [~ram_krish]: When proposing API additions to ByteRange I
think it is important first to establish that no other reasonable alternative
exists. Try to change the calling site code to use (Positioned)ByteRange and
what it provides today first. The code was written to the ByteBuffer API and
may use some BB methods due to its programming model, not actually to serve
some essential purpose.
