Just to close the circle on the current patch, the multicast
ClusterStatusPublisher and ClusterStatusListener uses Netty 3 APIs that go away
in later versions. I made a stab at "porting" but didn't end up with functional
code according to the (disabled) TestHCM unit test for it. Updated version of
the patch simply removes this code.
