The procedure for upgrading data structures on disk and in ZooKeeper from 0.94
to 0.98 is identical to the procedure for upgrading from 0.94 to 0.96.
As a final extra step there would be some additional configuration required if
the user wishes to enable the new features in 0.98. The presentation 'New
Security Features in HBase 0.98 - An Operator's Guide' at HBaseCon 2014 can
serve as seed material for that.
