Oh and re: HRegionInfo.
It is not true that none of the VersionWritable methods are used.
HRegionInfo.readFields(...) calls super.readFields(...) first and write(...)
calls super.write().
(That is what I meant with "we are not using any of the VersionedWritable
methods").
