Do we need this? Right before that text is "[...] show that HBase performs
correctly." I don't think more needs to be said, unless we want to drop down
into for example defining the difference between acknowledged and
unacknowledged writes.

fails at the right time, the write will be in the WAL, but the RegionServer's
acknowledgment will not reach the client, and then client would assume failure."
More of the same. Consider removing this, or otherwise expand it greatly for
clarity.
