Individual cells are not that big I think. AFAIK, I use 1 metric and 2 tags on
OpenTSDB so that would mean something like 3*3=9bytes. Anyway, the patch is
simply to change diffIdx type from short to int. I've done that and it solved
my problem. At the moment I have some internet issues so it's very hard for me
to submit a patch (took me 10 minutes to actually get this page), but being how
simple it is I don't think it's necessary.
