+1. I started this conversation with the hadoop list a bit ago and they seemed
mildly interested. The main open question is where things would live.
I see this as a first step of getting things close enough that we can hoist
test-patch out of Hadoop/HBase entirely. If Infra has a place where things
could live I'd be happy to start my merge work there and move HBase on to it as
a first step, then evangelize to other communities as needed.
