Complement some more information.
I ran the same test in my node for 0.98 (I used the same env for the previous
tests), and got the following results.

1. testContendedSingleCellIncrementer: 1st run is 176.674s. 2nd run is 175.813s.
2. testUnContendedSingleCellIncrementer: 62.989s.

It seems the performance gap is not as large as 10x in my poor test env:)
I didn't see too many differences in code between 0.98 and trunk, why are the
performances so different?
