The Phase 1 is supposed to be used by experienced hackers only as since it
lacks some important command support: list backup images, for example. The full
command list support is part of Phase 2 (HBASE-14123). We need to commit Phase
1 as since these two phases have become quite divergent and I have to rebase
Phase 2 code to Phase 1 to continue work on Phase 2. I can do it w/o committing
Phase 1, but the combined patch size will increase dramatically making it even
harder to review.
By the time 2.0 will become a release, both phases (and may be even Phase 3)
will be completed.
