nit: Is the hbase admin change intentional?
The failed tests could be related - they are all instances of the master taking
too long to start.
Maybe the change from a async start of the tablenamespacemanager to the a
synchronous startup of the /clusterschemasterservice caused master startup to
hiccup/hang?
