Thanks for the clarification Elliott, I understand your concern. However, it
seems to me all newly added metrics here are *count* rather than *rate*, so I
think they are free from the issues you mentioned.
Regarding the screenshot I pasted, the rate is computed at front-end, not
reported by hbase metrics. Maybe this is what confusing you?
