I think the latter implementation(call invoke assign directly if no failure) is
OK as the failure information is recorded with a tracker. But I think we need
to change the method name then.
invokeAssign -> invokeAssignNow, this means invoke assign without delay
invokeAssignOnFailure -> invokeAssign, this is a general invoke assign method,
in this method we will decide to call invokeAssignNow or invokeAssignLater.
What do you think?
