Hi Cheyenne,
Running HBase in Windows + Cygwin is not supported in production, so is not
well taken care of much in practice. If you'd like to get advice on how to get
this working, you're probably best off subscribing to and then sending an email
to the [user@ mailing list|mailto:[email protected]].
